The next morning I was overloaded with mail offering great deals. At first I checked them out, but as the week wore on I began realizing most I'd seen at least once before. Some didn't have my name on instead it had (costumers name) My initial reaction was well heck if you are going to spam me at least put my name on it, make the offer look legit anyhow. I began searching though the companies and would you believe the BBB has no Record of at least half of them. The half that sends all the junk mail of course. Later I found out they make these offers to get your email address to add to their list that they will later sale for a large profit. I did however find a few companies I do plan to use. So it isn't all a loss.
My piece of advice for the week is this:
1. Don't sign up for anything that says free or time sensitive until you've checked the business out first. No matter how good the offer.
2. When you do sign up be smart and make another email account for this project. Otherwise you might loose important email among all the spam.
